How is a commercial drone project quoted?
Send the purpose of the project, postcode, access details, dates and required deliverables. We check the practical flight requirements and provide a fixed written quotation before booking.
Do you travel across the UK?
Yes. We offer flexible seven-day scheduling for commercial projects across the UK. Travel, access and site-specific requirements are included in the written quote, before you commit.
Can you provide roof and building visual documentation?
Yes. We capture high-resolution wide, medium and close-up imagery of roofs, chimneys, gutters, solar arrays, façades and hard-to-reach assets. Files can be numbered and organised for your surveyor, roofer, insurer or facilities team. We provide visual documentation, not a structural, engineering or building-condition survey.
Can you provide aerial and ground photography in one visit?
Yes. A project can combine aerial photography and video with professional ground-level exterior, interior and detail coverage. Tell us where the content will be used and we will agree the shot list and delivery formats.
Do you provide indoor drone fly-through video?
Yes. Indoor fly-throughs are advertised directly, but the building, access, people management and flight environment must be suitable. We assess the location and proposed route before confirming the shoot.
Can you create 360-degree aerial panoramas?
Yes. We can create 360° aerial panorama content for properties, developments, venues, estates and locations, with the required format agreed in the written quote.
Can you work for an agency or production company?
Yes. We provide white-label aerial capture, work to an agreed shot list and can supply RAW or edited photography and footage for a wider production.
Can you document storm, accident or property damage?
Yes. We provide organised high-resolution visual evidence following storms, leaks, accidents or property incidents for review by insurers, loss adjusters, surveyors, roofers or facilities teams. We provide imagery rather than insurance advice, diagnosis, repair estimates or structural conclusions.
Do you cover events?
Snap U Aerial provides aerial event photography and video where the location, crowd management, permissions and flight requirements allow. Standard ground-level event photography and videography is provided through Snap U Photography and can form part of the same project.
Are you allowed to fly a drone commercially?
We are a CAA-registered drone operator. Each project is planned around the applicable requirements, airspace, site access, weather and any permissions that may be needed.
Can you fly at my location?
Send the postcode and project brief and we will assess whether a flight is suitable. Some sites need additional permissions, coordination or a different approach, particularly near airports, infrastructure or restricted areas.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Flights are only carried out when weather and site conditions allow. If conditions prevent safe capture, we will agree a new weather window with you.
When will I receive the images and video?
The delivery date is agreed in the written quote. Straightforward stills are normally delivered within three working days, with more involved video or multi-site projects scoped to the brief.
Do I own the images?
Usage is agreed in your written quote, so both sides are clear about where and how the final images and video can be used.
How far do you travel?
We work UK-wide. The overall quote covers the travel and site requirements for the specific project.
Can you support ongoing construction, energy or multi-site work?
Yes. Repeat visits, consistent viewpoints and multi-site production can be planned around your project calendar. Share the schedule and deliverables and we will quote it as a project.
